REMEDIUM is Latin for "remedy" or "the cure." REMEDIUM offers integrative, comprehensive, evidence-based mental health care customized to each individual's needs. At REMEDIUM, we believe personal wellness and wholeness is obtainable. The brain, a highly complex organ, is the control center of not only our physical body, but of our emotional and psychological self as well. Wellness and healing transpire naturally when we care for the self by making healthy choices which in turn lends to a healthier life.

MEET AMANDA

Amanda Wilkman is a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. As a registered and qualified prescriber and psychotherapist, she is proficient in medication management, individual, group, and family therapy treating clients across the lifespan. She obtained a Master's Degree from Columbia University, sub-specializing in child, adolescent and addictive behaviors. Co-founder of an adolescent partial hospitalization program in the Neuropsychiatric Center at University of California, Irvine, she developed a group therapy modality entitled "Transform Your Mind." She taught psychiatry and mental health as an assistant professor at Biola University from 2012-2015. Amanda has been serving the South Bay community through private practice since 2015.

MEET DR. HAH

Sandra Hah is a double board certified Adult, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. She specializes in providing compassionate and collaborative psychiatric care across all age ranges. Dr. Hah graduated with a B.A. from Cornell University and went on to attend medical school at St. Louis University. She completed her Adult Psychiatric residency at LAC + University of Southern California and additional specialty training in a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. This is where she met Amanda Wilkman and started a friendship and professional collaboration that has spanned more than a decade. Dr. Hah is adept at providing psychoeducation and medication management to help you navigate a new psychiatric diagnosis, or to help you maintain stability with ongoing psychiatric issues. Her ultimate goal is to empower you to pursue a comprehensive and holistic model of mental health and wellness as part of your psychiatric treatment goal.
