Initial Adult Assessment
A 60-minute comprehensive psychiatric assessment. This first appointment will be spent reviewing your medical, family, psychosocial, and psychiatric histories and thoroughly discussing your chief complaint. An individualized treatment plan will be established. Please note that recent blood work is required prior to any medication initiation or refill. A script will be given to you at your initial appointment to take to any lab of your choice. If you have had your blood work completed within the last 3 months please bring it to your initial appointment. Blood test must include: CBC with differential, CMP, TSH, Vitamin D, and lipid profile. Medication will NOT be prescribed or refilled until after your provider has reviewed your blood work.
Initial Child/Adolescent Assessment
A 90-minute comprehensive psychiatric assessment. This first appointment will be spent reviewing your child’s developmental, medical, family, psychosocial, and psychiatric histories and thoroughly discussing the chief complaint. Time will be spent with the parents and child alone, then collaboratively. An individualized treatment plan will be established. Please note that recent blood work is required prior to any medication initiation or refill. A script will be given to the parent at the initial appointment to take to any lab of choice. If your child has had their blood work completed within the last 3 months please bring it to the initial appointment. Blood test must include: CBC with differential, CMP, TSH, Vitamin D and lipid profile. Medication will NOT be prescribed or refilled until after your provider has reviewed your blood work.
Medication Management Follow-up
A 30-minute appointment. This appointment will be customized to your medication management needs. A thorough assessment of your current mood symptoms will be discussed and any medication adjustments required will be done. Supportive psychotherapy is also offered during this time.
A 15-minute appointment. This appointment is only available on Wednesdays and for patients who are stable on their medication regimen and approved by provider.
Medication Management and Psychotherapy
A 60-minute appointment. This appointment will be your one-stop shop. A thorough assessment of your current mood symptoms will be discussed and any medication adjustments required will be done. Comprehensive psychotherapy is done during this time using a variety of evidence based psychotherapeutic modalities tailored to successfully alleviate your symptoms and reach your goals.
Psychotherapy (“talk therapy”)
A 60-minute appointment. This appointment will include a thorough assessment of your current mood symptoms. Comprehensive psychotherapy is done during this time using a variety of evidence based psychotherapeutic modalities tailored to successfully alleviate your symptoms and reach your goals.
Family Therapy
A 60-minute appointment. This appointment will be customized to your families’ needs. Goals will be established and a variety of evidenced based psychotherapeutic modalities will be used to successfully resolve issues within the family unit and promote communication.
Couples/Marital Therapy
A 60-minute appointment. This appointment will be tailored to the goals and needs of the couple (individually and collaboratively). A thorough assessment of the current issue will be discussed and specific goals will be established.
Group Therapy
A 75-minute appointment twice weekly for 5 weeks. Group will run Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:15 pm. This group is exclusively for adolescents between the ages of (mature) 14-18 years. The group will be co-ed and have 6-8 adolescent participants. This group therapy is entitled “Transform Your Mind” and is an eclectic cognitive behavioral therapy modality.
